About the Role

This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing Elanco's import and export customs operations in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of direct international trade experience and knowledge of import and export regulations in the region.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Acting as the main liaison within Elanco organization for any issues or questions related to customs and trade compliance;
  • Crafting and putting into action programs related to customs and trade compliance;
  • Confirming alignment between business operations and applicable customs requirements;
  • Oversseeing audits and investigations to maintain adherence to compliance standards;
  • Performing risk evaluations;
  • Identifying continuous improvement and duty savings initiatives;
  • Key contact for customs brokers and Customs Authorities in the region;
  • Monitoring performance of customs brokers;
