Our ideal candidate will have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and at least one year of experience in Cash Collection, AR, or OtC departments. You'll need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a strong command of English.
In this role, you'll work closely with product sales departments, branch plants, field sales, and service personnel to resolve customer disputes. You'll exercise good judgment and decision-making skills when it comes to payment arrangements on disputed items and/or write-offs.
You'll also be responsible for classifying past due accounts for monthly reporting to management and making recommendations on potentially uncollectible accounts.
The successful candidate will have a problem-solving mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Experience in a Shared Services and international environment would be an advantage.
