Job Title: Contracts Analyst, Poland

Exact Sciences Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Analyst to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

Job Summary:

The Contracts Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the drafting, review, and negotiation of international contracts, as well as providing analytical and procedural support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with legal, business teams, and the broader finance organization to draft, review, and negotiate a variety of standard agreements and commercial contracts with vendors and customers.
  • Present and explain contract terms and conditions to business teams.
  • Act as a knowledge resource to the business teams in regard to current contracting policies, related governance, and processes.
  • Ability to interpret contracts and interface with vendors and third parties on contract issues.
  • Partner closely with legal and leadership to ensure proper contracting escalation throughout review process and obtain all other required internal review and approvals for contract terms and provisions.
  • Partner to improve current business processes and develop new global processes to optimize effectiveness of the contracting team.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain open and strong communication with internal employees and third parties.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and acts with discretion.

  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in any field.
  • 2 years' experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
  • In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and at least 4 years of drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
  • Fluency or near-native language skills in English would be required, including fluency in German.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as: Word and Outlook, as well as internet navigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • 4 years' of direct experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions strongly preferred
  • Experience in working with Category Management and/or legal teams.
  • Biotech or Life Science industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Coupa or similar spend management platform.
