Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Professional to join our team at Elanco. As an Internal Controls Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying key risks and auditing related controls, improving internal audit processes, and communicating critical or unmet needs to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Audit Execution: Partner with Elanco personnel to identify key risks and audit related controls, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Process Ownership: Improve internal audit processes using input from key stakeholders, internal policies and procedures, and external guidance, implementing and automating resilient internal audit processes using technology.
  • Communication: Engage in dialogue with auditees, affiliate management, audit team members, and business partners to understand critical or unmet needs and communicate risk evaluations.
  • Maximize People: Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork and continual learning, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong learning agility and demonstrated critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.
  • Interest and ability to cross-train on other audit streams, including promotional activities, information security, and privacy.
  • Ability and willingness to work both independently and within a team environment, interacting with all levels of management.
  • Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in Poland.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Chartered Account, Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent certification.
  • Prior audit or internal controls experience, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Working towards or have obtained a relevant certification, such as CIA, CFE, or CIPP.
Education Requirements
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting or a related field.
