Sonova is a leading provider of hearing solutions, and we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sustainability Controller.

Job Description:

The Sustainability Controller will be responsible for providing external and internal ESG reporting and creating internal transparency on sustainability matters to ensure regulatory compliance, assess risks and opportunities, and enable Sonova to drive and control action.

This role will involve running the Sustainability Reporting Process, governing the Sustainability Reporting Framework, and driving Continuous Improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the reporting process for a select function/area or set of ESG matters
  • Orchestrate the reporting and aggregation process for the function/area or set of ESG matters
  • Ensure timely collection, validation, and reporting of data
  • Maintain the relationship with the ESG team and subject matter experts
  • Support the selection, implementation, and maintenance of tools for the collection, processing, aggregation, and reporting of ESG-related data
  • Support the preparation of internal and external ESG reports, including the ESG reporting in the Annual Report
  • Drive change to embed internal controls throughout ESG for the function/area or set of ESG matters
  • Regularly review and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the ESG reporting processes
  • Continuously develop and adjust data sets, tools, and processes to cope with the development of external regulation in close collaboration with the ESG team
