Role Overview:

This role involves working as part of a team to provide payroll related compliance and guidance to the business. The successful candidate will have previous experience of Polish Payroll processes and be able to work independently to apply good judgment, solve complex problems and manage competing priorities.

Main Tasks:

  • Prepare and/or update changes for employee pay affecting payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOX guidelines.
  • Review government filings and payments to ensure compliance with local country laws.
  • Prepare and remit external reporting, including year-end filings.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory changes related to local country laws and test these changes within our SAP system.
  • Work with the Regional Payroll Process Lead to implement regulatory changes in McCormick's payroll system (SAP).
  • Assist the team with complex problems related to reconciliations of FI to Payroll accounts.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience of Polish Payroll processes is required.
  • Certification in Payroll is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent English language knowledge is required.
  • Ability to review payroll transactions and compile information into a meaningful format for management review.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply good judgment, excellent complex problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interaction, relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Advanced competency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
