At Brown Brothers Harriman, we are seeking a Market Analyst Lead to drive revenue growth for our Infomediary Data Solutions (IDS) business. IDS offers a suite of solutions for BBH clients in the data and digital space, leveraging our Infomediary platform to bring together data management technology and managed services.

The Market Analyst Lead will oversee the Markets Analytics team, acting as our centralized hub of market data and analytics around our product and industry. This role will be responsible for defining and driving the business analysis, market research, and product development within the team, supporting all IDS products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and a deep knowledge of industry trends to help influence our product roadmaps. They will lead with a market-centric focus, owning the gathering and publishing of competitive intelligence/market research around the Data Product landscape.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Market Analytics function, helping to define the strategy and driving all execution in partnership with other pillars in the product organization.
  • Managing a team of Market Analysts, providing direction and oversight.
  • Partnering with Product Management and Client Solutions teams to ensure appropriate decisions are made related to technology development, partnerships, and collaborations with external service providers.
  • Conducting business analysis for client projects and initiatives, focusing on understanding client product needs, analyzing challenges, and creating innovative solutions.
  • Researching, analyzing, and summarizing information about critical market and regulatory changes in the Financial Services industry that could impact the IDS product roadmap and product suite.

Qualifications include:

  • Successful management and leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding and experience in the Financial Services Data Product landscape.
  • Required proficiency in SQL and data management and reporting tools.
  • Global regulatory experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clarity and strong influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
