About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Risk Management Partner, where you will play a key role in supporting business stakeholders in decision-making by providing timely and relevant information to maximize value and minimize risk associated with strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and go-to-market activities.
As a Risk Management Partner, you will be responsible for providing focused risk management support to Thomson Reuters functions and business segments. You will work closely with the Director, Enterprise Risk Management to review and challenge risk mitigation efforts for various initiatives across functions, including Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions Office.
You will also build and lead the broader Go-To-Market Risk Partnering team in support of TR's business segments, overseeing the integration of the ERM Framework within the functions and segments you support. This will involve facilitating key risk activities by implementing consistent, regular, and repeatable processes risk assessments.
In addition, you will provide oversight and constructive challenge to ensure that risks across the various functions and segments are being effectively managed in alignment with established practices and risk appetite. You will develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts within and outside the organization.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced risk management professional with a strong background in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management frameworks. You should have a minimum of 6-8 years of risk management experience, with knowledge of the technology industry preferred.
You should also have relevant professional certification in risk management, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Additionally, you should have strong business acumen, with the ability to convey complex concepts and ideas in clear and concise manner.
