Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of multiple mobile and fixed commercial asphalt production plants, including production planning, budgeting, and ensuring quality and production targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Leading our company's safety culture, actively supporting all safety initiatives, and adhering to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams.
  2. Supporting our company's core values, vision, and mission; following our code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies.
  3. Establishing safety, quality and efficiency standards for production operations.
  4. Maintaining effective relationships and working with customers, suppliers, local communities, local, state and federal governments, and Company business groups.
  5. Overseeing hiring, training, and development of asphalt production staff.
  6. Developing and managing budgets and forecasts; handling production schedules to meet plans for assigned sites.
  7. Analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, and operational practices and recommending improvements to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and production efficiency.
  8. Using established Key Performance Indicators to manage production results.
  9. Ensuring effective equipment maintenance practices and maintenance planning to improve plant up-time.
  10. Collaborating with the sales, construction operations, and quality control teams to establish production schedules to meet internal and external customer needs.
