  • We are seeking a qualified Senior VAT Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

">
  • As a Senior VAT Analyst, you will provide in-depth technical VAT law assistance, including handling complex tax issues.
  • You will perform complex VAT analysis, research, and planning in single VAT matters and assist on projects in the area of VAT.
  • Coordination of preparation of VAT returns and related filings is also a key responsibility.
  • You will coordinate and conduct tax compliance trainings for other departments.
  • The role involves coordination and supervision of parts of national and international VAT compliance work due to VAT registrations in different EU countries.
  • Another important task is analyzing information required for preparation of tax returns and preparing documents by the appropriate deadlines.
  • You will coordinate and assist less senior Tax Analysts on the preparation of VAT returns, including review of work results, and projects plans.
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues for both compliance and planning purposes, including projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, with a focus on VAT.
  • A degree in a Tax/Accounting/Finance discipline is required.
  • Deep knowledge of VAT law, both local and European, is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (B2) is required.
  • Business knowledge of MS Excel is necessary.
  • Ability to perform legal research using tax laws, internet, and various tax databases is crucial.
  • A solution-oriented approach to work is expected.
  • Analytical skills and affinity to numbers are necessary.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
