Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at CKH Group. As a Senior Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations, and other critical tasks for our global clients in EMEA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly tasks such as VAT, Intrastat reports, Payroll, Balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX binders;
  • Preparing year-end financial close activities, including US GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations and Local GAAP financial statements drafting;
  • Contacting auditors for PBC list preparation;
  • Contacting external consultants for annual CIT questionnaires;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc accounting, tax, and finance projects;
  • Supporting the team leader to ensure smooth operation of all transaction parts and monthly reporting;
  • Providing guidance to junior staff and assisting with mentoring staff to meet client deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
  • 3-5 years' experience in accounting and taxation;
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel;
  • Fluency in English and German language (written and verbal skills);
  • Good knowledge of Accounting Principles and Taxation;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills with a proactive, supportive, and positive approach;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • SAP ERP knowledge is required;
  • SSC environment would be a key asset.
