Data Scientist for Pharmaceutical Research and Development

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our pharmatech project.

This opportunity allows you to start your journey from February 1st, 2025, making it an ideal choice for candidates available from this date.

About the project:

You will be part of a team dedicated to discovering, designing, and developing innovative treatments for complex diseases.

Your role will involve contributing to groundbreaking treatments through cutting-edge projects aimed at reducing the time and cost of drug development.

You will work on scaling precision medicine through innovative computational methods, pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve in healthcare.

We offer a flexible employment form: B2B or Employment Contract

  • UoP: 16 000 – 19 000 PLN gross/month
  • B2B: 130 – 155 PLN net/hour + VAT

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Expertise in Python with at least 4 years of hands-on experience and confidence working with the language.
  • Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation.
  • A proactive mindset, with a proven ability to drive ideas forward and take ownership of complex challenges.
  • Experience in optimizing frameworks for performance under diverse and complex workloads.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Redis.
  • A solid understanding of API Gateway or Service Mesh concepts such as Istio.

We also appreciate skills in these areas:

  • Knowledge of the Dapr framework.
  • A BSc degree in Computer Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Interest in Life Sciences or Drug Discovery.
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices, including planning epics, writing tests, and developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with GCP or AWS cloud platforms.
