Job Title: Technical Team Lead

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Technical Team Lead to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the optimal implementation of mission-critical systems.
  • With a strong background in software development and leadership, you will be responsible for coaching, hiring, and overseeing the technical direction for your team.
  • As a leader, you will be expected to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to drive results-oriented teams to achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading software development teams (2 years or more)
  • Practical experience in developing moderate size software systems
  • Very good understanding of the software development lifecycle (cloud software)
  • Practical experience in programming large systems
  • Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision
  • A great team player
  • Good verbal and written English communication

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing the end-to-end software lifecycle
  • Experience with developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields
