Job Overview

  • Foster a culture of regulatory compliance across the globe by staying up-to-date with evolving external requirements and developing effective implementation strategies for global supplier management, procurement networks, and supplier bases.
  • Develop and implement global internal and external directives, guidelines, standards, and contracts, including training and education programs for procurement teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with the Prewave provider to enhance the existing LkSG/CSDDD compliance software, ensuring alignment with global category management and the LkSG steering committee's objectives.
  • Participate in industry association meetings and networking events to benchmark and improve CSR and risk management strategies, fostering innovation and best practices.
  • Closely work with the Global Category Management team to drive strategic initiatives and optimize processes within global supplier management.
  • Oversight of risk management efforts globally, including financial screening during supplier onboarding, with direct responsibility for initiating these processes in the EMEA region.
  • Coordinate corrective actions on a global scale in response to identified compliance risks related to LkSG.

Successful Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably with knowledge of current regulatory requirements (LkSG, CSDDD, EUDR, CBAM etc.)
  • Good understanding of German language (minimum B2 level) and excellent English language skills (C1 level)
  • Experience working on German markets and strong communication skills
  • Relevant degree in business administration, industrial engineering, sustainability management or a related field
  • General IT affinity and digital competence
