At Google, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in the cloud. As a Cloud Engineering Manager, you'll lead a team of talented engineers to develop and deploy large-scale projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

We're seeking an experienced technical leader to manage our Titan Platform Serving initiative. You'll oversee project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure seamless collaboration between engineers, product managers, and other teams to deliver high-quality products and features.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cloud engineering at Google. You'll grow, coach, and mentor engineers and engineering managers to build a healthy team culture focused on technical excellence. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, leadership experience, and a passion for driving innovation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead a team of more than 8 strong engineers at all levels building the infrastructure behind Gemini Cloud Assist, Gemini Code Assist, and other key initiatives.
  • Work with product teams to translate platform needs into project roadmaps.
  • Manage project schedules and identify potential risks.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment across teams to deliver high-quality products and features.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects and people management.
