About the Role

NAVBLUE is seeking an Aeronautical Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our digital library of State published aeronautical information and distributing it to relevant production teams for inclusion in our products. You will use customised tools and processes to meet our high quality standards and adhere to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Source, analyse and process state published aeronautical information in a timely manner in accordance with the 28 day AIRAC cycle.
  2. Manage the digital library of documentation and ensure all relevant administrative records are up to date.
  3. Ensure workload is planned and prioritised to achieve predetermined deadlines.
  4. Develop and maintain a network of contacts with Civil Aviation Authorities and similar organisations.
  5. Identify and record all discrepancies with documentation and liaise with state authorities for clarification.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal customers and external data providers.
  7. Collaborate and work together in a small team environment to achieve team objectives.
  8. Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to at all times, notify the relevant personnel of any non-conformities.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience in Digital Document Library Management and/or working with aeronautical source documentation.
  • Ability to articulate complex information to various audiences.
  • Quality driven with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn, implement and manage new concepts, systems and processes.
  • Continuous improvement mindset (optimising processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills: adept at working to strict deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, adaptable to all organisational levels.
  • Self motivated, proactive and autonomous.
