About This Role


This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Programme Manager and contribute to the success of our Markets business. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving change and implementing solutions that support our business strategy.



Key Responsibilities



  • Manage the day-to-day programme delivery, ensuring the delivery teams are set up for success and deliverables are closely tracked.
  • Support Accountable Executives within Markets Business to articulate, design, and implement front-to-back product lifecycle.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities, roadmap, and investment proposals for product delivery.
  • Ensure Product strategy is translated into a scalable business architecture delivering streamlined and digitized front-to-back product lifecycle supported by robust controls.
  • Run regular Programme cadence ensuring alignment of delivery objectives and constant feedback loop on progress and challenges, removing latency and driving high-performance culture.
  • Support stakeholders to escalate any critical issues with deliverables and facilitate meetings to resolve impediments and issues.
  • Manage the scope, schedule, and cost of the programme, ensuring accurate and sharp status update into various reporting and governance forums.
  • Manage the resource allocation, ensuring the delivery team is set up with the required capabilities and skillsets.
  • Coordinate responses to internal and regulatory requests, ensuring progress against plans is clearly communicated and issues are articulated well.


Requirements



  • At least 10 years of experience in managing change and complex front-to-back projects covering scope, planning, financial, resource, and risk and issues management.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering change in Financial Markets through agile project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets' products and previous experience with financial markets trading products directly with front office or functions or as business manager / change manager.
  • Working experience in Business Process Improvement, Operational Risk, and Process Management.
  • Appropriate certifications, such as PRINCE 2 / PMP / PROSCI.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Problem-solving and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills to successfully drive initiatives with senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking with strong business analysis and planning skills; capable of identifying and interpreting a wide range of issues, and a 'big picture' understanding.
