Job Title: Payroll Specialist with German

Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and leverage your expertise in payroll management to drive business success.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our payroll processes are efficient, compliant, and accurate.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and monitor payroll data to ensure adherence to local country requirements and regulations.
  • Perform payroll runs as per local country requirements and regulations.
  • Conduct start-of-year and end-of-year payroll administration activities, working closely with third-party providers.
  • Manage and maintain our company's payroll processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Respond to and process requests for changes to payroll data, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor payroll input data quality, including rewards, performance, time, and attendance, and implement measures to address any issues.
  • Administer disbursements, perform statutory collections, filing, and reporting, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and regulatory requests for payroll data, providing expert insights and guidance.
  • Administer employee compensation, including bonus calculations and annual pay reviews, ensuring fairness and equity.
  • Implement changes in response to legislative updates that impact payroll and time administration activities.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to investigate payroll queries and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related social science discipline.
  • Experience as an HR administrative assistant, preferably in a shared services environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders, including managers, executives, business partners, and subject matter experts from various countries, cultures, and business levels.
  • Ability to ask relevant questions, clarify issues, attempt resolution, and escalate problems if necessary.
  • Ownership and capability to work independently, take initiative, and follow up on assigned projects.
  • Confidentiality and sensitivity when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, demonstrating a high sense of commitment and responsibility.
  • Proficiency in leveraging various tools, such as knowledge management, document management, and HR systems, to obtain required information and resolve queries.
Language Requirements:
  • Mandatory proficiency in German language.
  • Mandatory intermediate level proficiency in English language.
