Materials Buyer Associate

We are seeking a talented Materials Buyer Associate to join our SC Indirect Materials buying team, supporting Europe markets. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating and buying goods and services to meet the company's operational needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Approving requisitions and managing invoice queries in alignment with accounts payable team;
  2. Overseeing order placement and delivery, ensuring requisition compliance and adherence;
  3. Supporting OEM conversion initiatives and managing SLA agreements with major suppliers;
  4. Tracking and measuring compliance performance and arranging ad-hoc spare parts requests;
  5. Liaising with engineering on non-compliance reports and supplier quality issues;
  6. Updating purchase information records and sourcing lists.
Qualifications
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken);
  • Suitable HNC diploma demonstrating technical knowledge and understanding of engineering parts;
  • Experience in materials management for technical products/services;
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Collaborative and proactive work style with multi-functional teams;
  • ERP and Buying platform knowledge (SAP/Oracle, Ariba);
  • Excel & Office package skills.
