We are seeking a talented Buyer to join our Westinghouse Electric Company team. As a Buying Specialist for International Markets, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and materials in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Purchasing goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Process Purchase Requisitions, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders.
- Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment.
- Proactively monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or similar field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in corporate environment, ideally in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or highly technical areas).
- Knowledge of Procurement/Supply Chain Management processes and function.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, teamwork, solution orientation.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for details.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and proactively identify and solve issues.
