Job Title: Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager

HedgeServ is a leading global fund administrator with a strong presence in the private equity industry. We provide a wide range of services to our clients, including fund accounting, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance. As a Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our private equity team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and investor reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the closed-end fund accounting process, ensuring compliance with HedgeServ's guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Oversee the preparation of net asset value calculations, financial statements, and investor reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and develop a team of up to 10 employees, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including investor relations and regulatory compliance, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Investigate accounting implications of new products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the audit process, ensuring timely and successful completion of fund audits.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a hedge fund administration firm, with at least 2 years at a supervisory level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong systems, product, and process knowledge, with experience in Investran a plus.
  • Committed to delivering results and providing exceptional customer service.
