Job Overview

Xperi is a leading technology company that powers billions of consumer electronics, connected cars, and digital content titles worldwide. As a Sr Technical Support Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our B2B customers on TiVo OS Smart TV products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide level 2+ technical support to Xperi's B2B customers, resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor production device populations and respond timely to monitoring alerts, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Maintain the monitoring and reproduction lab environment, guaranteeing seamless testing and debugging processes.
  • Replicate, diagnose, and drive issues to resolution, collaborating closely with Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal and external customers by delivering high-quality service and providing clear updates.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers by ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Proactively identify new solutions and propose improvements to processes, tools, and documentation, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and TCP/IP network protocols.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mentality.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent time management, decision-making, prioritization, and organization skills.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
  • Experience in embedded device support and monitoring tools like Splunk.
