At ING, we are seeking a skilled Data Insight Specialist to join our Wholesale Bank Data Delivery Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to support our team with expert data analysis and processing skills.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with other analysts from around the world to understand data requirements and prepare relevant datasets. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data insights, identifying problems, and proposing solutions using your expertise in SQL and SAS Enterprise Guide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data analysis and delivery: Providing high-quality data insights to support risk processes, including credit risk modelers, validators, and other stakeholders.
  • Data processing and quality assessment: Ensuring data accuracy and consistency through thorough analysis and review.
  • Automation of data delivery processes: Developing efficient SAS macros programs to streamline data delivery.
  • Discrepancy identification and solution proposal: Conducting detailed analyses to identify discrepancies and proposing effective solutions.
  • Data quality testing: Conducting rigorous tests to ensure data quality and integrity.
Your Expertise

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis, data analytics, or data science.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with SAS Enterprise Guide.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, having the following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9, IRB).
  • Familiarity with GIT or other version control systems.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Analytical Base Tables (ABTs).

Our Risk Data Tribe is responsible for end-to-end data solutions for various IRB and IFRS9 projects, covering entire model life cycle needs.

You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about the data collected in ING Group, analyze it, and prepare prototypes of new data structures that will be used further in the process.
