Job Overview
  • We are seeking a highly skilled AP Accountant with German language proficiency to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
  • AP Process Management:
  • Process and categorize invoices using the system efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive vendor records in the database.
  • Take a proactive role in managing the daily flow of invoices, ensuring timely payment.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and suggest improvements.
  • Support the AP Team lead in incorporating new processes or tools into the Accounts Payable team.
  • Monitor and manage AP email inboxes, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Process bank statements and handle employee travel expenses, adhering to company policies.
  • Create and maintain vendor profiles, fostering strong relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and vendors to address issues promptly.
  • Generate batches for supplier payments, optimizing cash flow.
  • Control the G.R.N.I. balance sheet account, ensuring accuracy.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including closing the AP Subledger and IC balance confirmation, meeting deadlines.
  • Generate reports and conduct analyses related to Accounts Payable, providing insights for improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
  • You have good knowledge of German and English (at least B2).
  • You possess good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You have previous experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in Accounts Payable.
  • You have experience working within a global environment, adapting to different cultures.
  • A university degree in economics/finance with a major in Accounting may be an asset.
