We are seeking an experienced Financial Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Michael Page. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing financial processes and ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closing Tasks: Conduct monthly CO closing tasks, including COPA analysis, internal cost allocation, and distributions in SAP to generate controlling reports for customer departments.
  • Budget Implementation: Assist customers in implementing budgetary plans within the SAP system, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
  • Methodology Development: Advise customers on developing and standardizing controlling and cost accounting methodologies to optimize financial management.
  • Business Consultancy: Provide consultancy on structural changes within customer organizations, offering expertise in business administration.
  • Process Coordination: Coordinate business processes across departments such as external accounting, procurement, and SAP IT support to streamline operations.
  • Report Design: Collaborate with customers to design and implement SAP-based controlling reports tailored to their specific needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and incorporate new requirements into existing SAP CO reports to maintain high standards of data accuracy and usefulness.
  • Functionalities Development: Design and enhance internal accounting functionalities within SAP CO, driving continuous process improvements.
  • Self-Service Tools: Develop and refine self-service tools in SAP for customers to manage master data and transactional postings efficiently.
  • Technical Specifications: Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for SAP developers and oversee the quality assurance of implemented functionalities.
  • Authorization Concepts: Guide customers in designing authorization concepts and oversee their implementation with SAP IT operations.
  • Customer Onboarding: Lead the implementation of new customers onto the SAP CO module, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration.
  • Tool Support: Serve as the application owner for the ProCon BDE tool, providing 2nd level support, conducting monthly closings, delivering customer training, and overseeing tool development and interfaces.
