Job Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer at Instron, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business in Poland. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance to our partners within their territory to exceed their annual sales targets. This requires a goals-driven, self-motivated, and proactive individual who can work closely with our local sales and service teams in Poland to sell differentiated products and services.
We are looking for a sales professional who can identify and qualify prospects through web leads, marketing events, and direct inquiries. You will be responsible for maintaining our IFS CRM sales database, updating sales funnel information, providing accurate forecasting, and utilizing regular Power BI sales activity dashboards.
Key to your success will be your ability to develop and execute localized strategies and sales campaigns into new markets and accounts, as well as taking responsibility for developing and executing account plans for existing markets and customers. You will also be responsible for coordinating and executing product demonstrations, industry-focused workshops, and other promotional activities that showcase our products and services.
In addition to your sales expertise, you will be required to produce quotations, covering letters, technical descriptions, and literature for customer proposals. You will also need to coordinate with our sales, order entry, finance, and shipping departments to deliver clean orders and ensure customer after-sales satisfaction and account receivables are kept to a minimum.
With a strong consultative approach and ability to perform an excellent discovery process, you will be able to identify customer objectives and provide expert knowledge and information on market trends to influence customer decisions. You will also be responsible for strategically positioning Instron ahead of the competition by implementing sales strategies based on competitive and local market knowledge.

Sales System
- Fully engage with CRM system to ensure all projects are accurately in the system
- Provide up-to-date and accurate forecasts on a quarterly basis based on information in CRM
- Utilize quoting and reporting tools
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline is typically required, supported by experience in technical sales in a similar technical business-to-business environment. Candidates without a graduate degree will also be considered where substantial relevant successful experience in similar technical sales environments can be demonstrated.
