As an IT Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing cutting-edge IT products for our clients.

  • Solution-Oriented Consulting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide functional IT consulting services, focusing on SAP PLM and SAP MDG-M within sustainable product lifecycle management.
  • Project Participation: Contribute to IT product development and sub-projects related to product lifecycle management excellence (PLMX), coordinating with various business teams.
  • Requirements Analysis: Lead discussions with user departments to elicit requirements and translate them into technical IT concepts.
  • Product Design: Work closely with the development team to shape high-level solutions that effectively address user department needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and development teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take responsibility for specific topics, driving them from concept to implementation and ensuring tangible results.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a sparring partner for project managers, development managers, and product & service managers, providing valuable insights and guidance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience in IT consulting within a large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience advising business stakeholders on technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Practical experience with product lifecycle management systems, particularly SAP, is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance is desirable.
