Job Description:

As a Data Governance Engineer at Tipico, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data assets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing automated data quality checks to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with the Data Governance Lead to align data quality initiatives with broader governance strategies and policies.
  • Investigating and analyzing data quality issues to implement solutions and optimize data quality processes.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for data quality requirements and processes.
  • Providing expertise on data quality best practices and tools to support data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in SQL and cloud data services.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks, data warehousing concepts, and data lineage.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data cataloguing tools and practices to organize and manage metadata.
