About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to lead all aspects of the commercial insurance business within Coface PL, including:

  • Identifying emerging market opportunities for business development.
  • Planning and achieving sales results, while monitoring the client portfolio.
  • Building relationships across various distribution channels to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing commercial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Conducting market research and analyzing threats and opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Ensuring the achievement of financial goals through effective sales performance and client portfolio management.
  • Managing the process of acquiring, developing, and retaining clients, including selling Coface products and cross-selling services.
  • Overseeing the sales process – from client identification, through business discussions, to closing deals and ensuring complete documentation.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to navigate regional structures and understand the business from a group-wide perspective.
  • Strong experience in internal commercial departments and managing large teams.
  • Experience in commercial discussions and contractual management.
  • Awareness of insurance captive management and governance.
  • Experience of financial and budgetary management.
  • Critical thinking and execution skills, with exceptional interpersonal abilities to influence business change.
  • Proficiency in English.
