Job Purpose:

The Contract Manager at TD SYNNEX is responsible for overseeing the review and approval of all contractual documents to protect the company's contractual posture, respond to customer requirements, and adhere to TD SYNNEX's policies.

This role supports the legal affairs of the organization as directed by the Transactional Legal group's management team, managing legal issues with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage European Vendor and Customer Agreements, and support the Eastern Region.
  • Utilize sophisticated negotiation skills to direct and control contract negotiations to meet established milestones and objectives.
  • Maintain effective knowledge of company products and service offerings.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach that balances the needs of the business for profitability with ensuring the contractual terms and conditions protect the company and minimize risk.
  • Support TD SYNNEX's Legal department systems and tools, actively encouraging their use throughout the organization.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of all relevant company employees to draw upon the expertise of others to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide regular input into the development and maintenance of standard contract templates and pre-approved alternative language.
  • Participate in cross-regional/global negotiations.
  • Collaborate or cooperate with local management team, global legal services team, and outside legal counsel in various matters.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A previous experience in the practice of commercial/corporate/contract law with an emphasis on commercial buy/sell transactions, with a preference for in-house experience handling complex contractual review and negotiation matters.
  • A qualified legal degree from a certified educational institution or related degree.
  • Qualified and admitted to the practice of law in at least one jurisdiction, with such qualification/admission being in good standing.
  • An advanced level of English and Polish, with additional languages being desirable.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, to work constructively under stress and pressure, and to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • The ability to negotiate persuasively and effectively, to conduct in-depth research into applicable laws and judicial decisions, and to make appropriate recommendations of actions to take.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate legal research information clearly and concisely to others, and the ability to make sound legal decisions.
  • The ability to interact positively and effectively with others at various levels within the organization and outside parties, to identify needs and opportunities, and to develop action plans to address these.
  • The ability to prioritize workload based upon business needs and goals.
