About the Role

Ecommerce Data Analyst plays a crucial part in our team, working closely with Product Owners and eCommerce Developers to enhance tracking implementation. A key aspect of this role is supporting GA end users and utilizing Google Tag Manager to fulfill business needs of various stakeholders.

This position utilizes diverse data sources (behavioral, transactional, customer related) to understand how customers interact with our site and suggests improvements. It also involves designing and creating key analysis and providing data insights to stakeholders.

  • Develops measurement plans and employs Google Tag Manager to implement events and documents them;
  • Supports testing to ensure that data layer items are developed correctly and works on troubleshooting technical issues in the GTM setup;
  • Manages GTM & GA accounts;
  • Supports Google Analytics end users;
  • Analyzes existing customer, transactional, and web data to identify business opportunities and challenges focusing on company performance and customer behavior, develops reporting solutions;
  • Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed;
  • Supports building and executing an A/B testing process;
  • Continuously updates knowledge, tracks, and implements latest trends;
  • Provides training on web data and reports;
  • Follows data governance standards;
  • Complies with IT quality policy;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A very good working knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4) & Google Tag Manager;
  • At least 3 years of experience working as an eCommerce data analyst or in a similar role; Graduates of Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science, or related disciplines are welcome;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • A working knowledge of Excel;
  • A basic understanding of SQL;
  • Knowledge of BigQuery will be a plus;
  • Hands-on experience with developing dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI);
  • Experience with Hotjar, Clarity (or equivalent) is a plus;
  • Business acumen and strategic understanding;
  • Great communication and presentation skills;
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail (project management experience is a plus);
  • A team player able to build relationships;
  • Good interpersonal communication skills;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
