Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to clients using Shopify via phone, email, or chat.
  • The ideal candidate will focus on resolving critical issues affecting customer experience, particularly those impacting checkout or store access.
  • Prompt and professional responses to incoming alerts and issues are essential.
  • Complex issues may be escalated to higher-level teams for resolution and follow-up.
  • A thorough postmortem analysis and follow-up with involved teams are required.
  • Accurate logging of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system is necessary.
  • Identifying and escalating recurring or systematic issues to improve overall customer experience is key.
  • Collaboration with team members and knowledge-sharing initiatives are highly valued.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Shopify
  • Previous customer service or technical support experience is desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with computer systems, networks, software applications, and hardware components
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (Jira)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, while being a team player
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of a 24/7 support operation
  • Patience, empathy, and a customer-first mindset
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
  • Upper-Intermediate English level
