Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing payroll activities, preparing payroll and time and attendance transactions, and maintaining payroll data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll activities to ensure accurate and on-time processing.
  • Prepare and process payroll and time and attendance transactions.
  • Manage and maintain payroll data, systems, and schedules.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of all payroll-related accounts.
  • Understand and implement payroll controls, policies, and wage and hour laws.
  • Collect inputs for and respond to inquiries to clarify issues.
  • Guide and advise on payroll audits, reconciliations, and projects.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Employee inquiry resolution and advanced issue resolution.
  • Daily interactions with internal business partners and customers.
  • Adherence to the defined payroll calendar.
  • Maintenance of standard work and procedures.
  • Integration data management.
  • Comprehensive preparation and calculation of remuneration.
  • Preparation of PPK, GUS, PFRON, ZUS, PIT declarations.
  • Entering data into the SAP system.
  • Full support for the Płatnik program.
  • Settlement of bailiffs' classes, loans, ZFŚŚ.
  • Report creation and analysis.
  • Collaboration with vendors.
  • Monitor banking files and address rejects.
  • Participate in and/or lead internal/external audits.
  • Project management where required.

Requirements:

  • In-country equivalent payroll certifications/qualifications required.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of issues and skills in the field of calculating wages for work, cash benefits from social insurance in the field of illness and maternity, social security, personal income tax.
  • GlobalView/SAP and Workday support welcome.
  • Ability to think analytically and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of country and localized payroll legislation.
  • Time & Attendance knowledge.
  • Good Analytical skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
