Career Opportunity: Chief Cryptographic Key Management Officer

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the Chief Cryptographic Key Management Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating controls to manage cybersecurity risk.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of common industry cyber security frameworks, standards, and methodologies, including but not limited to: NIST standards, FIPS, PCI DSS.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with technical, Cybersecurity and/or operations teams to define, deliver vision, strategy, and roadmap for key management.

You will lead assigned internal and external partners to deliver the agreed uplift in technology and practises, ensuring that best Key Management practises are being followed across HSBC estate.

Additionally, you will develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate stakeholders and communities within Cyber about the key management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have hands-on experience of managing key standards, key inventories, and key lifecycle.

You will also require a proven track record of working with technical, Cybersecurity and/or operations teams, as well as strong stakeholder management skills.

A background in information systems, technology, architecture, design, and service delivery of defence-in- depth capabilities would be beneficial.

You will be able to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative and actionable manner.
