At SAP, we're committed to empowering our IT organization to achieve excellence in product management. As an IT Product Management Senior Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product management capabilities and driving improvement journeys.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in workshops to align, review, and maintain standards for IT Product Management processes, practices, tools, and metrics.
  • Assess the proficiency of product managers and maturity of the product management capability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Research, evaluate, and propose new training and learning offerings for emerging and experienced product managers.
  • Advise and coach product managers and their managers on their journey towards higher skill proficiency and practice maturity.
  • Propose changes and report progress to management stakeholders related to product management maturity and organizational development.

What We're Looking For

  • A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. A focus on process improvement or project management would be advantageous.
  • Work experience working as an IT Product Manager or as a Product Management Consultant for IT.
  • Knowledge of and experience with working with agile teams.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge.
  • An open mindset, the passion to work with people, and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent English Language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
