Job Description

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking an experienced Global Process Owner to oversee and optimize payroll policies and processes across multiple regions and departments on a global scale.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Initiate process and system changes and enhancements; work with the payroll operations team and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives impacting the global payroll process.
  2. Drive improvements and establish best-in-class processes for global payroll and related programs that meet jurisdictional compliance requirements, deliver outstanding employee experience, and enable our global expansion programs.
  3. Draft the current "as-is" and "to-be" business process, business requirements, and use cases in the business case requirements document; sign off on the final business case; approve cross-functional business requirements that impact the global payroll process.
Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in payroll operations in a global organization.
  • Experience with SAP, Workday, ADP payroll platforms, or other payroll systems.
  • Expertise in the end-to-end global payroll process and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts; ability to assess and provide input into the impact of a business process/system change.
  • Ability to collaborate and gain input yet operate autonomously to make decisions in the gray space, taking calculated risks.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, time and attendance, and employee data management processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Diplomacy and tact in navigating sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Influence to bring expertise and translate technical details to non-technical users or stakeholders of the systems.
