Strategic Real Estate Sourcing Director


We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Real Estate Sourcing Director to join our team at Simon-Kucher. As a key player in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's real estate needs across our global footprint.



About the Role:

This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 7 years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, with a focus on real estate services, facilities, and transactions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, negotiate with real estate service providers (global and local), and implement high-quality and cost-effective solutions to meet the company's real estate objectives.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for real estate services, including leasing, property management, and related services.
  • Lead real estate projects from business request through office selection, contract negotiation to office move-in in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of real estate-related procurement activities.
  • Deliver timely project read-outs, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and engaged, and preparing necessary leadership decisions as needed.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with real estate service providers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure favorable agreements.
  • Collaborate with our local office leads, legal and finance teams to review lease agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Work closely with finance teams to develop and manage budgets related to real estate expenditures.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate procurement to navigate real estate sourcing activities effectively.
  • Play a key role in identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with real estate transactions and contracts.


About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent project management, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. Your skill set should include robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a hands-on mentality. You must also be fluent in English and have a bachelor's degree in business, real estate, strategic sourcing and procurement supply chain or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
