Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work with Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading company in the clinical research industry. As a Clinical Research Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and good clinical practices (GCPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Site Management: Conduct on-site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance, handle required documentation, and manage procedures and guidelines from different sponsors and/or monitoring environments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines, applicable regulations, and SOPs to guarantee subjects' rights, well-being, and data reliability.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy through SDR, SDV, and CRF review as applicable through on-site and remote monitoring activities.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication between investigative sites, client company, and internal project teams through written, oral, and/or electronic contacts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain and complete administrative tasks such as expense reports and timesheets in an accurate and timely manner.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field.
  • Clinical Monitoring Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical environment where experience is gained in clinical trials, medical terminology, medical research, clinical research, or health care.
  • Skills: Basic medical/therapeutic area knowledge, understanding of medical terminology, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to maintain customer focus, and ability to work in a team or independently as required.
