Job Summary:

As a Portfolio Management Specialist at Stefanini, you will be responsible for managing the financial portfolio on a monthly basis, ensuring alignment with budget, approved, actuals, and planned spend. You will partner with the finance team to validate financial numbers, investigate discrepancies, and address variations in projected spending. Additionally, you will manage quarterly Change Logs for contractors based on available funding, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Your role will also involve validating with external stakeholders the number of days employees are expected to work each quarter to align with budgetary constraints. You will compare expected vs. actual labour costs and approve Change Logs accordingly, ensuring compliance with financial policies. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Lead to monitor and manage project budgets on a monthly basis, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed. You will utilize various financial systems to compile and generate comprehensive reports on budget status and projections. Finally, you will prepare and present monthly financial updates to the Leadership Team, highlighting key metrics and financial standing.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, or operations coordination.
  • Exceptional command of English.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • MS Excel proficiency.
