We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist.

Job Overview

The responsibilities of this role include a wide range of Payroll activities giving a great opportunity for learning and developing new skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Correcting and timely calculation of salaries in terms of legal requirements, employment contract agreements and employer's agreements.
  2. Maintaining and performing payroll/time-tracking transactions according to country-specific regulations and collective agreements.
  3. Ensuring post payroll activities (payments file to bank, print & distribute payslips, etc.).
  4. Giving active support to other team members.
  5. Resolving all payroll/time tracking issues and queries raised by the employees, their managers or any other parties within deadlines.
  6. Preparing prompt and correct statements required in the process according to employees' orders.
  7. Preparing monthly/yearly/quarterly declarations on time and in accordance to the local legal requirements.
  8. Participation in payroll-related projects.
  9. Working in the SAP system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. At least 1 year of previous experience working in Payroll and be seeking new and interesting development opportunities in this area.
  2. Proficiency in English (min. B2).
  3. Proficiency in German (min. B2).
  4. A degree in Economics / Finance or other related areas.
  5. Strong customer- and detail-oriented skills with great communication skills.
  6. Familiarity with labor law and acquaintance with the payroll system, Workday, SAP/GlobalView.
