Job Summary:
The Junior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and updating payroll records, preparing payroll interfaces, and delivering HR transactional services. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers, HR departments, and third parties.
Responsibilities:
- Process and update payroll records related to new hires, terminations, hours worked, taxes, insurance, bonuses, etc.
- Prepare payroll interface to various systems or databases.
- Deliver HR transactional services in a specific area, such as employment, training, compensation, benefits, or pensions.
- Create payroll results.
- Process and review time records to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare reports concerning the personnel administration process.
- Act as a point of contact for customer's employees, HR departments, and third parties for HR and Payroll-related questions via email or phone.
Requirements:
- Very good command of German (min. B2) and English (min. B1).
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Focus on details.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under time-pressure.
- No prior experience in payroll required; training provided.
