Global Sales Strategist

Johnson Matthey, a global leader in sustainable technologies, is seeking a dynamic professional to drive the commercial strategy for a key global customer within our Clean Air business. This role will be instrumental in managing relationships with Tier 1 Clients in the automotive supply chain, ensuring alignment with OEM terms, and delivering mutual benefits for both parties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external teams to achieve long-term business goals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Lead all commercial aspects of the relationship with the nominated TR1 Client, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
- Collaboration & Process Optimization: Work closely with internal teams and the TR1 Client to develop and implement optimized processes, including Service Level Agreements, dispute resolutions, and claim management.
- Product & Sales Management: Oversee new product introductions, sales forecasting, and develop scorecards for both the TR1 Client and JM to create a progressive way of working.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of commercial experience in the emission control industry, with a strong background in customer management and global markets.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Capabilities: Proven track record in building strategic customer relationships, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex partnerships.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 30%-40%.
