Accounts Payable Specialist

North America

Major Responsibilities

  • Process payment requests and generate payments in the system for third-party and intercompany vendors.
  • Solve payment-related issues.
  • Handle assigned queries for resolution.
  • Assist with Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt account reconciliation.
  • Assist with AP Trade account reconciliation.
  • Perform account aging reviews and resolve overpayments and recoveries.
  • Maintain and update unclaimed property records for reporting and filing purposes.
  • Provide documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
  • Periodically provide payment practices reports, oversight reports, and other assigned tasks.
  • Prepare invoice entries for netting, cooperate with treasury for the procedure.
  • Cooperate with treasury in payment-related activities.
  • Support cash management goals.
  • Participate in projects.
  • Onboard and support new team members.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Procurement/Supply Chain required.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience with Ariba.
  • Project management skills beneficial.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various management levels.
  • Proactivity in identifying and supporting customer needs.
  • Focus on details and quality of service delivered.
  • Problem-solving skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Solid PC skills (MS Word and Excel required).
