We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our Global Supply Chain hub in Imperial Brands. This role will play a key part in end-to-end planning, becoming a competent and reliable partner for our factories and markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the planning processes, taking product availability to the next level, and supporting an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business with 25,000 employees.

As a Supply Chain Strategist, you will ensure high product availability in Imperial Brands markets, accurate inventory levels, and optimal asset utilization, minimizing the impact on total supply chain cost.

You will report to the End-to-End Planning Team Manager and be responsible for one of three key areas: DRP&Inventory, Operations Planning, or Materials Planning.

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative team with flexible working hours and a hybrid work policy (50/50 office vs home based). You will collaborate with materials suppliers, manufacturing plants, and cluster teams with diverse international backgrounds.

Your principle accountabilities will include:

  • Planning and coordinating distribution and production requirements for one of the assigned areas.
  • Driving collaboration with materials suppliers, manufacturing plants, and cluster teams.
  • Balancing supply and demand in the assigned part of Imperial Brands' network, identifying shortages/unbalances situations, and initiating corrective actions.
  • FOLLOWING PRODUCT LIFECYCLE PROCESSES INCLUDING PHASE IN-PHASE OUT, NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES, AND NETWORK PLANNING CHANGES TO MAXIMIZE AVAILABILITY AND PREVENT OBSOLESCENCE.
  • Taking an active part in E2E Supply Chain Hub creation and driving value through continuous improvement of current and new processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree (BA or MA), preferably linked to Supply Chain, Business, or a technical major.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Planning Execution, Supply Network Planning, or Distribution Requirement Planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills as English is our business language. Additional languages such as Spanish, German, French would be highly beneficial.
  • Great analytical and digital skills, as well as a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to develop broad, cooperative relationships with diverse stakeholders and teammates with multicultural backgrounds.
  • Willingness to learn and discover new solutions, passion for driving improvements.
