About the Role:

We're seeking experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead the development of our world-class software for commercial insurers. As a key contributor to our backend engineering team, you'll solve challenging problems at the intersection of large data pipelines, distributed systems, and robust infrastructure.

You'll work on our client-facing application built using React + Redux and backend services created in Python + PostgreSQL.

Team members enjoy full ownership of their projects and are expected to drive project direction and maintain focus. Our team operates in two-week sprints and collaborates closely with fellow engineers, data scientists, machine learning experts, and DevOps professionals.

Frontend: React + Query + TypeScript

Your Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for distributed systems

Create data-driven microservices utilizing RESTful APIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Understand customer needs and translate them into actionable specifications or code

About You:

We're looking for candidates with:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development

Excellent development skills, including design, debugging, and problem-solving

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field

Experience with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React with Redux)

Proficiency in Python3, with openness to working with other object-oriented languages

Familiarity with AWS and serverless technologies

Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL

An enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and finding the right tool for the job

A preference for open, respectful, and frank communication
