About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Team Manager to lead our IT product team in Wroclaw, Poland. As a key member of our Airfreight business unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions that drive innovation in the logistics industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your expertise to lead a multi-disciplinary IT product team consisting of system analysts, software engineers, and quality assurance engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative and open communication culture within the team, promoting a positive and inspiring work environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal processes, ensuring seamless communication and efficient use of tools and methods.
  • Craft a tailored training curriculum aligned with national and corporate requirements, supporting the growth and development of team members.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Routine performance reviews and potential assessments for team members.
  • Define and prioritize individual and team development needs, setting achievable targets in line with product and team goals.
  • Empower team members through coaching and mentoring, driving their technical and personal growth.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues from other Air Logistics teams, business units, and corporate IT departments, facilitating collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Pursue opportunities to engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, expanding your skills and expertise.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated understanding of IT product organization and the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of working in agile teams, handling complex IT landscapes, and adapting to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to address improvement areas and shortcomings.
  • A team player attitude, comfortable explaining ideas to diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
  • High level of initiative, proactivity, and goal-oriented working style, with a knack for efficient processes and communication.
  • Strong technical affinity, willing to expand your knowledge to meet team demands, and enthusiastic about acquiring in-depth knowledge of Air logistics.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
