Job Overview

The Payroll Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and operation of our local payroll product. This position requires a deep understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements across the UAE, KSA, and Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Process Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely processing for all employees in the specified regions.
  2. Compliance Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of local payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for GCC countries - UAE and KSA is must have.
  3. Process Development: Develop and implement efficient payroll procedures and workflows to optimize productivity and accuracy.
  4. Auditing and Reconciliation: Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  5. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  6. Candidate Communication: Provide timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, benefits, and tax-related matters.
  7. Client Support: Collaborate with clients to understand their payroll requirements and provide necessary support.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, finance, and product departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll systems and data.
  10. Trend Analysis: Stay updated on payroll industry trends and best practices.
  11. Reporting and Analytics: Assist in the development and implementation of payroll reporting and analytics.
  12. System Implementation: Participate in payroll system implementations and upgrades.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 7+ Years of Experience: Overall 7+ years experience with at least 3 years experience in managing teams.
  • Payroll Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on payroll experience in the UAE, KSA and Egypt with at least 2 years in management.
  • Payroll Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements for the specified countries.
  • Payroll Systems: Proven experience with payroll systems and software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
