Senior Wholesale Banking Leader

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Wholesale Banking Leader to join our team at ING. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of our Sectors in their respective country, delivering revenue and economic income growth, and steering local sector P&L targets while minimizing risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a country sector strategy aligned with ING Wholesale Banking's overall strategy and global sector strategy.
- Locally manage ABCDEMEA revenues and economic income.
- Build and maintain engagement with senior executive-level clients and leverage our network across functions, country, and products.
- Manage the Dynamic Plan, focusing on profitable growth in line with strategy.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities and differentiate our customer value proposition versus competitors.
- Direct the implementation of the country sector business strategy in coordination with regional Sector Coverage heads, regional functional heads, and stakeholders in Risk (including non-financial) and Products.
Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with international experience.
- Proven track record of steering an end-to-end organization.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to execute.
- Wealth of deal/transaction experience, market participant knowledge, and proven ability to assist in winning new business.
- Highly experienced in complex stakeholder management.
- Good knowledge/experience of regulatory requirements and risks (financial & non-financial).
