Business/System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Business/System Analyst for a US real estate project. The role involves building an AI-driven platform for automated investment analysis, document processing, and secure data management.

The customer is a U.S.-based real estate investment firm specializing in opportunistic and value-add strategies across sectors like self-storage, senior housing, multifamily, and parking. Since 2007, it has completed over 120 investments and raised multiple funds, earning strong trust from institutional investors. Known for hands-on asset management and complex deal execution, the customer is a trusted partner for leading institutional investors.

The project is the development of an automated investment analysis platform that uses AI to extract insights from documents, update records, generate reports, and provide a secure web dashboard for monitoring and review.

Responsibilities

• Designing and documenting workflows to optimize operational efficiency and clarity.
• Identifying discrepancies between current and desired states to inform strategic improvements.
• Gathering, defining, and evaluating user needs to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Applying a solid understanding of artificial intelligence principles and techniques to support solution development.
• Deconstructing existing systems to uncover functionality and inform redesign or integration.
• Leveraging deep knowledge of algorithms and complex formulas for data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business/System Analyst for 3+ years.
• Proactivity with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong expertise in AI technologies and complex formula development, with a solid analytical mindset.
• Experience with data wrangling and tools like Excel, SQL, or Pandas for analyzing structured and unstructured data.
• Experience in optimizing workflows and automating business processes
• Experience working with APIs and defining integration requirements with external systems.
• Skills in analyzing data sources, understanding data flows, and mapping data between systems.
• Ability to describe data structures, identify discrepancies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Experience in documenting data pipelines and working with stakeholders to define data integration requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Scope-driven and assertive, able to maintain focus on defined deliverables and confidently push back when necessary.
• Thrive under pressure, capable of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines and demanding environments.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
