WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Head of Applications to join our corporate IT team.

Location: Warsaw (Poland) or Prague (Czech Republic)

Note: Regular presence in our HQ´s office in Prague (Czech Republic) will be required.

SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Applications team at P3 Logistic Parks in your role as Head of Applications. Your main focus will be to oversee the maintenance and support of all company applications. As the Head of Applications, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical business applications.

Working closely with key stakeholders from different departments, you will have an exciting opportunity to understand their business needs and goals. By comprehending their requirements, you will be instrumental in identifying possibilities for enhancing and improving applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Applications team, ensuring that their work aligns with business objectives.
• Manage and prioritize the application portfolio, which includes budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with different business units to evaluate application needs and create plans to meet those needs.
• Lead the implementation of new applications and features, making sure that the deliverables are of high quality and meet user requirements.
• Supervise application support and maintenance activities, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and effectively communicated with users.
• Work closely with the IT infrastructure and security teams to guarantee that applications comply with company policies and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in application development and management.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Applications team, creating an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Contributing to the advancement of technology maturity in collaboration with Technology Leadership.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the technology industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Must have experience in managing application portfolios and vendor relationships.
• An established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is expected.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are a necessity.
• Must be capable of collaborating and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Significant leadership skills, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team, are important.
• Emphasizes the importance of being open-minded.
• Puts great emphasis on out-of-the-box thinking.
• Recognizes the value of introducing new capabilities to technology.
• Places a high value on creativity.
